Phototime Tuesday - 30MAR04 - Discarded

A building a day before it was demolished. For most of their lives, people woke up early, came to work here, and sometimes left after the sunset. Now it is just a few pixels that can amazingly be seen anywhere in the world.

RAYFLANA - You should post an "after" shot... Love the perspective though with the crane in the foreground.
Will Burnham - I see they tore this building down the old fashioned way... with a crane and a wrecking ball! The crane helps to establish a sence of scale.
Shannon Taylor - What was the words on the building...something someone spray painted? I see the photo and it makes me think of all the garment mills sitting empty here in our county. Thanks to all the work going over seas. Sad days are ahead if we do not get a grip on the world.
